II Vertigo Meeting in Mieres (Asturias), 15–16 May 2026

Dear colleagues and friends,

The Organising Committee is delighted to invite you to the 2nd Vertigo Meeting in Mieres, which will take place on 15–16 May 2026 at the Auditorium of the Vital Álvarez-Buylla Hospital of Mieres, Asturias (Spain).

In collaboration with the Scientific Committee, we have developed an engaging and comprehensive programme covering key aspects of a subspecialty that we are deeply passionate about: Otoneurology.

The meeting is specifically designed as an advanced update in Vestibular Medicine, offering a high-level scientific programme. It will feature a series of Keynote Lectures delivered by internationally renowned experts. We are especially honoured to welcome Dr Michael Halmagyi (Australia), Dr Steven Rauch (USA), and Dr Gülden Akdal (Turkey).

In addition, the meeting will include outstanding national speakers, such as Dr Juan Manuel Espinosa, President of the Otoneurology Committee of SEORL, and Dr Andrés Soto, President of the SEORL Research Committee.

Round Table Sessions will be one of the highlights of the meeting, addressing highly relevant and practical topics including the Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex, the interface between Ménière’s Disease and Vestibular Migraine, and the current landscape and future challenges of Otoneurology in Spain.

Participants will also have the opportunity to present and discuss their own work during a dedicated Oral Communications session.

Simultaneous translation will be available for those who wish to fully benefit from the scientific content.

Following the success of the first Vertigo Meeting held in Mieres, we are delighted to host this second edition, which combines an outstanding scientific programme with valuable opportunities for professional exchange. A carefully planned social programme, including a Gala Dinner, will further enhance the meeting experience.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to Mieres in May 2026.

Kind regards,

The Organising Committee
